Test Rules & High-Scoring Tips
No Negative Marking Rule
Unlike PPSC or FPSC, candidates are strongly advised to attempt all 100 questions as there is zero penalty or deduction for wrong answers in POF tests.
Matric/FSc Level Concepts
The test difficulty for Artisan and Chargeman posts is strictly set at the Matric or Intermediate (FSc) level. Thoroughly revise your textbook concepts.
Bubble Sheet (OMR) Filling
Practice filling OMR bubble sheets quickly and completely. Use only a high-quality black or blue ballpoint pen. Markers lead to machine rejection.
Crucial Time Management
You will only have 60 to 90 minutes to complete the test. Do not get stuck on difficult math problems; move forward and return to them later.
Mandatory Documents Required on Test Day
Without presenting these 4 specific items, candidates will NOT be allowed to enter the POF examination hall under any circumstances.
1. Original Print of Roll No Slip: Must be a clear, fully printed PDF copy downloaded directly from the official POF portal. Screenshots on mobile phones are rejected.
2. Original ID Proof: Bring your Original CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card). Photocopies, expired ID cards, or driving licenses are strictly rejected by security.
3. Examination Stationery: Bring at least two blue or black ballpoint pens for filling the OMR sheet. (Markers, gel pens, and pencils are strictly banned).
4. Transparent Clipboard: A fully clean, transparent hardboard/clipboard with nothing written on it to hold your paper safely on the desk.
Test Day Rules & Disqualification Criteria
Strict POF instructions that candidates must follow. Failure to comply will lead to immediate cancellation of your paper and legal action.
Prohibited Electronics
Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, and hidden cameras are strictly prohibited. Possession inside the hall will lead to confiscation and a lifetime ban from POF induction.
Late Arrivals Ban
The examination hall gates will be sealed exactly at the reporting time specified on your slip. Absolutely no candidate will be allowed entry after the seal time. Reach 1 hour prior!
Missing Original ID
Photocopies of CNIC or B-Form are NOT accepted. You must bring the ORIGINAL document matching the exact CNIC number provided during your POF job online registration.
Tampered Roll No Slip
Do not write anything on your printed admit card. Slips with scribbles, notes, formulas, or blurry photographs will be confiscated, resulting in immediate test disqualification.

Final Expert Advice for POF Job Applicants
Securing your printed POF Roll No Slip 2026 is the final major administrative step before your big testing day. We highly recommend downloading your admit slip from the official POF Web Portal (www.pof.gov.pk) immediately upon release, as immense server traffic on the last day often causes frustrating portal crashes. Once successfully downloaded, deeply analyze the POF Written Test Syllabus provided above. If you are specifically applying for the Artisan or Technical batch, rigorously revise your Matric-level Physics and Mathematics textbooks, as these core subjects carry the heaviest technical weightage.
On the test day, maintain a calm and focused mindset. Reach your designated testing center (e.g., Wah Cantt, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, or Quetta) at least one hour before the reporting time. Remember, there is absolutely no negative marking in POF exams, so ensure every single OMR bubble is completely filled before time runs out. A career in Pakistan Ordnance Factories guarantees immense respect, outstanding federal government perks, and lifelong family security. We wish all hardworking candidates the best of luck.
